🛫Migrate JPEG to JPGD

How to migrate

To be able to benefit from JPEG’d DAO’s governance token, users holding JPEG need to migrate it to JPGD. JPEG is going to be deprecated and lose its voting power. JPGD replaces JPEG and can be used for:

• LTV Boosts

• Traits Boosts

• As collateral to borrow pETH

• Governing the DAO and the vault parameters.

There are 3 types of users: JPEG holders, users in the JPEG’d citadel and JPEG boost lockers.

For JPEG Holders

1. Connect with any wallet holding JPEG on https://jpegd.io/migrate-jpeg

2. Confirm your JPEG balance and the amount of JPGD you’re going to receive

3. Click “MIGRATE” to confirm the migration

For JPEG'd Citadel Depositors

The Citadel got an upgrade, making it more user-friendly and gas effective. You can now join the citadel in 2 operations only; Provide liquidity in the pETH/WETH pool and stake the LP tokens in the new citadel, which will compound CVX+CRV rewards AND distribute JPGD.

1. Connect with any wallet depositing in the old citadel on https://jpegd.io/peth

2. If you had old deposits, click MIGRATE. This will queue two transactions, to move from the old citadel to the new one, and claim your JPEG rewards (which you’ll need to migrate).

3. You will be able to claim your JPGD rewards as soon as the distribution starts

For JPEG'd Boost Lockers

JPEG’d Boost Lockers do not need to do anything immediately. All boosts enabled with JPEG will remain active until the user disables them. But will not be counted as voting power. To migrate:

1. Request a boost unlock

2. When the unlock period is over head to https://jpegd.io/migrate-jpeg
3. Confirm your JPEG balance and the amount of JPGD you’re going to receive

4. Click “MIGRATE” to confirm the migration
